California-based Real Advantage Title Insurance Co. (RATIC) announced it has again received a “no exceptions” letter for SOC 1 and SOC 2 compliance in an audit conducted by accounting firm Baker Tilly.
This marks the eighth audit of this type that RATIC has achieved the highest score attainable, according to best practices outlined by the American Land Title Association (ALTA).
The SOC1 and SOC2 audit examined RATIC’s control policies, protocols and procedures.
“Our achievement of ‘no exceptions’ status in the SOC 1 and SOC2 audit reflects our unwavering commitment to protecting our client’s NPI and security,” RATIC President Rich Macaluso said in a release. “Our agency clients can rest assured that their transactions are handled with the highest level of professionalism and security, making their experience smooth and worry-free.”
The independent audit tested over 50 controls including the overview of the company, its services, infrastructure, software, people, data, procedures and risk assessment. Each area examined during the audit received excellent reviews with no exceptions.
