Doma Title Insurance appointed Liz Dunlap as agency manager for central and southern Virginia.
In this capacity, she works closely with Doma agents and approved attorneys throughout the region to determine their needs and provide individualized solutions and support.
Dunlap brings more than 20 years of real estate industry experience to her position, including nearly a decade as a title agency account manager, handling both residential and commercial clients. Prior to that, she spent 13 years working for an engineering and surveying company, serving attorneys, lenders, developers and title and escrow companies throughout Ohio.
“Agents need more than a salesperson; they need a consultant who has the ability to objectively guide them towards solutions,” Jared Uthe, assistant vice president, regional agency manager for Doma, said in a release. “Liz brings in-depth knowledge and expertise to efficiently deliver a wide array of internal Doma resources, as well as recommend external resources that benefit the safety and quality of her agents’ operations.”
Dunlap studied engineering and technology at Lakeland Community College and pursued studies in industrial technology at Kent State University. She is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, as well as past president of its Cleveland chapter. She also serves on the Lake County Development Council as a board trustee and secretary and has been a member of both the Lake Geauga Area Association of Realtors and the Cleveland Realtist Association.
“Doma’s advanced technologies and the company’s drive to challenge themselves and the industry as a whole to constantly improve the title, escrow and closing process are what drew me to the company,” Dunlap said. “Sharing this vision and opportunity with my clients – as well as the wide variety of tools and resources offered by Doma – allows me to help my clients find new ways to increase their market share and more effectively serve their customers.
“Navigating the current market and beyond will have its challenges,” she acknowledged. “My mantra is, ‘I am here to help.’ Whether it is helping out with a lunch-and-learn session, providing ideas for social media marketing, offering insight into lead list software or educating my agents on industry trends and ideas, I want my agents to know that support for every aspect of their business is always just a phone call away.”
