Kriss Law/Atlantic Closing and Escrow (KL/ACE) hired industry veteran Landon Smith as its chief strategy officer.
Smith will spearhead KL/ACE’s national growth strategy, including brick and mortar sites in new jurisdictions, the hiring and management of new sales staff, entrée into new lines of business, technology advancements and mergers and acquisitions.
He comes to KL/ACE as an experienced senior leadership executive, board advisor, and management consultant.

Smith has over 30 years of experience in the technology, financial, title insurance and mortgage services industries. He’s held executive positions at LandAmerica, Stewart Lender Services, ServiceLink and The Closing Exchange as well as a number of independent national title insurance agencies.
The new chief strategy officer’s work also spans all products in the lifecycle of a loan; origination, home equity, default, loss mitigation and REO. In connection with these service arenas, Smith has been directly involved in structuring mergers and acquisitions, post-merger/acquisition integrations, overseen B2B operations, profit and loss management, strategic business development, and the development of corporate sales and marketing strategy.
