Krysta Baring recently joined Stewart Title Guaranty Co. as underwriting counsel in the southwest region. Baring will provide underwriting support and guidance to employees and agents with a focus on Texas transactions.
Baring’s career in Texas oil, gas, and real estate law while working alongside a title company agent provides a unique breadth of knowledge as well as the transactional mindset to serve Stewart’s customer’s underwriting needs, according to the company.
“Krysta not only brings a wealth of experience but a strong motivation to find innovative solutions for our agents and direct operations, which she will support,” Stewart Regional Underwriting Counsel Heidi Junge said in a release. “Stewart is very pleased to have Krysta join our southwest region team of underwriters, often recognized as the best in the industry by our agents.”
Baring worked private practice for 12 years, where she represented all parties in real estate transactions. She also provided counsel to an affiliate title agency and worked on oil and gas transactions.
