The non-profit organization Women in Title announced the launch of its national mentorship program. The initiative was designed to develop future industry leaders and elevate diverse voices within the title community.
Through the program, selected mentees will be matched with experienced industry professionals who have volunteered to invest their time, knowledge and leadership in helping others grow both personally and professionally.
“Some of the most valuable lessons in my career didn’t come from a classroom or a training manual,” said Kim Whitlock, founder and president of Women in Title. “They came from people who took the time to answer questions, share their experiences and encourage me along the way. We are fortunate to have incredible leaders in this industry, and this program creates an opportunity to connect those leaders with professionals who are ready to learn, grow and invest in their future.”
The mentorship program is open to professionals across all areas of the title and settlement services industry. Through the program, mentees will receive one-on-one guidance from experienced industry leaders, gain insight into career growth and leadership, build confidence through accountability and support, expand their professional network and develop meaningful, lasting relationships within the industry.
“As a co-chair of the committee and an executive board member of Women in Title, this program is incredibly meaningful to me because it reflects exactly why Women in Title exists—women supporting women in ways that are real, intentional, and lasting,” said Candi Slobodnik. “I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when someone takes the time to invest in your growth and leadership, and that’s what we set out to create here. We’re creating a pathway for future leaders in the title industry by investing in connection, encouraging accountability and supporting both professional and personal growth.”
Applications for the inaugural mentorship cohort are now open and are due by July 31. For more information, visit Women in Title (WiT) on LinkedIn.
