SoftPro released a new integration with Fidelity National Financial’s (FNF) agentTRAX that features a new recording fee service. Agents of the FNF underwriter family who use SoftPro can use the integration to calculate recording fees and taxes.
The new recording fee service within agentTRAX provides county-specific calculation of recording fees and taxes for a wide range of transactions including deeds, mortgages and amendments. SoftPro users can download calculation summaries as PDFs and access state-specific guides to recording fees and practices.
“The new agentTRAX recording fees integration further streamlines the closing and title process for our customers who are agents of the FNF family of underwriters,” Patrick Hempen, chief customer officer for SoftPro, said in a release. “To be able to turn around county-level calculations of recording fees and taxes without leaving their SoftPro environment optimizes their efficiency.”
agentTRAX links via the SoftPro 360 vendor portal eliminating the rekeying of data and manual calculations. SoftPro 360 is free to all SoftPro users and provides a two-way transfer of data between SoftPro and a nationwide network of third-party vendors. SoftPro users can order and receive title products and services from any integrated vendor, improving efficiencies by making manual tasks such as email and phone calls obsolete.
