Women in Title (WiT), a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting professional growth and leadership development in the title insurance industry, has announced Encore Bank as its first bank Visionary Partner.
“Encore Bank’s partnership is a meaningful investment in people and progress within our industry,” Kim Whitlock, founder of Women in Title, said in a release. “Their support elevates a relationship they’ve long maintained with our organization and our member companies, reinforcing the importance of collaboration across the title space.”
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to leadership and long-term industry impact. Encore Bank’s support will help advance Women in Title’s core initiatives, including mentorship programs, leadership development, educational events and a growing network of state chapters nationwide.
“We are proud to support the work of Women in Title as it cultivates a collaboration over competition mindset,” Robert Ross, director of title and escrow banking at Encore Bank, said. “Their commitment to advocacy, collaboration and empowerment aligns with our values and the culture we work to build every day. We look forward to the lasting impact their advocacy and leadership will bring to the title and escrow industry.”
Founded in 2022, Women in Title has grown into a national community representing professionals across all roles in title insurance from escrow officers to executives, focused on elevating voices, strengthening industry connections and supporting the next generation of leaders.
“Encore Bank is proud that women are now 62 percent of employees and 47 percent of corporate leadership,” said Lauren Goins. “Since joining in 2022, I have been proud to watch Encore Bank encourage the hiring and development of female employes.”
