Patrick Rose, president and founder of Corridor Title, was elected as the 112th president of Texas Land Title Association (TLTA). He was sworn in during TLTA’s 2026 Annual Conference and Business Meeting, held June 8-10 in Frisco, Texas.

“Patrick is uniquely prepared to help lead TLTA and our regulated industry through the important work ahead,” said Leslie Midgley, executive vice president and CEO of TLTA. “His experience as a successful title company owner, longtime TLTA volunteer, civic leader and former member of the Texas House of Representatives gives him a rare and valuable perspective on the intersection of public policy, regulation, private enterprise, and service to Texas consumers. Patrick understands both the purpose of our industry and the public trust that comes with our work, and I look forward to working alongside him as TLTA continues advocating for our members, strengthening our grassroots network, and helping guide the industry through a time of significant change.”

In remarks to TLTA members, Rose outlined a forward-looking agenda grounded in the enduring purpose of the Texas title insurance industry. He noted that the industry is operating in a time of rapid technological change, regulatory uncertainty, shifting market conditions and increasingly complex political dynamics. Against that backdrop, he called on TLTA members to continue refining and clearly communicating the value of the title industry to legislators, regulators, consumers and the public at large.

Rose identified several priorities for the year ahead, including navigating the upcoming legislative session, elevating TLTA’s grassroots network of volunteers, encouraging innovative products that respond to consumer demand, remaining engaged in federal advocacy and preparing to meet unforeseen challenges with fortitude and a long-term view.

He also emphasized the importance of continuing the work begun by Immediate Past President Gil Ernst to better define and share the industry’s story.

“There is a direct connection between the freedoms we enjoy, the economy that drives our state and country, and the private property rights system for which we, as an industry, serve as steward,” Rose said. “In addition to the previously stated goals, and for the benefit of our friends who are legislators, regulators and the public at large, we are going to work over the coming months in order to better refine and tell our story as an industry — consistently, in a bipartisan manner, and in a way that demonstrates the true value we provide to our Texas economy and to all Texas families.”

Rose also expressed appreciation for the countless volunteers who sustain TLTA’s work — including Board Members, Committee Chairs, Committee and Task Force Members, and the more than 20,000 participants in what he described as “this purpose-driven industry of ours.”

Rose founded Corridor Title in October 2010 and serves as its president, overseeing the company’s operations across nine Texas markets and its continued growth.  Before founding Corridor Title, he represented Blanco, Caldwell, and Hays Counties in the Texas House of Representatives from 2002 to 2010.
