eLynx, a portfolio company of American Capital, announced that the company has hired
Alec Cheung to serve as vice president of marketing. Cheung will oversee product planning and management, internal and external marketing communications, brand management and public relations.

He will add important capabilities to our executive team as we continue to grow eLynx in the fast-changing and demanding business environment we live in.”
Cheung will be based in the company’s Cincinnati headquarters. In addition to his duties related to the strategic marketing of products and solutions, he will be responsible for positioning eLynx’s growth strategy, including developing opportunities in new and existing markets.

Prior to joining eLynx, Cheung held a variety of high-level marketing and communications roles with Convergys over 11 years. Most recently, he was senior director of marketing responsible for assessing existing and potential markets, building relationships with key market influencers and tracking market intelligence and customer sentiment. Cheung earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
