Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. announced Lawrence Bell has joined the company as underwriting counsel – New Jersey/Pennsylvania.
Bell has more than four decades of experience in real estate and title insurance, including underwriting, claims, agency operations, regulatory compliance, education and legal support.
In his new role, Bell will provide underwriting and legal support to Westcor’s independent title agents throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. While his primary focus will remain New Jersey, he will also assist Pennsylvania agents with underwriting guidance, education and transactional support.
A past president of the New Jersey Land Title Association, Bell has dedicated much of his career to advancing professionalism and education within the title industry. He is a frequent author and lecturer on title insurance, real estate law, fraud prevention, ethics, claims avoidance and regulatory compliance.
