Megatel Homes LLC and MegPrime Holding LLC are poised to unveil the first universal payment token after the Securities and Exchange Commission confirmed it would not require the token to be registered as a security.

Zach Ipour, co-founder of MegPrime and Megatel Homes, told The Title Report the MegPrime Token is set up to operate as a universal payment tool that can be used for expenses such as groceries and household bills. The crypto asset will also support initiatives designed to improve housing affordability.
