NFIB: Optimism rises, uncertainty declines

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Small Business Optimism Index rose by 0.1 point from March to April and the Uncertainty Index dropped by 4 points. NFIB’s chief economist said he believes the “benefits of the Working Families Tax Cut Act should start to feed into the private sector over the next few months.”
