PropLogix has launched its annual State of the Title Industry Survey. Statistics found from the survey are used throughout the industry as a benchmark for title production best practices.
This is the seventh year the company has surveyed title professionals to discover their challenges and successes in their business as well as how they handle title production.
In 2023, the survey found that 38 percent of closing professionals admit they aren’t always checking for open or expired permits before closing, with 13 percent saying they only do it when specifically requested.
Data from the survey is used to create the State of the Title Industry Report which will be made available to the public for free later this fall.
