Bowe Digital, a digital marketing firm that helps small businesses tell their stories and reach new customers by focusing on custom content, was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana for the third year in a row by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
This statewide survey and awards program recognizes the companies that are leading the way in workplace culture in Indiana. The honorees are compiled by the Workforce Research Group and determined through employer reports and anonymous employee surveys with questions about work/life balance, employee satisfaction, employee engagement and communication and appreciation.
“From annual baseball games with our families to weekly Zoom calls where we share our wins and our mistakes, we take every opportunity to connect. By breaking down the barrier between personal and professional life, we build a culture of trust and innovation that empowers our team members to be their best, most authentic selves,” Wayne Stanley, Bowe Digital owner and chief inspiration officer, said in a release. “We put a premium on good internal and external communication, which enables us to build trust with our partners, push the limits of our creativity and deliver one-of-a-kind content that sets them and us apart.”
Bowe Digital has been fully remote since its inception in 2017 to allow its team the flexibility to work from anywhere and create limitless hiring opportunities to attract the best talent. The company has learned to cultivate meaningful relationships with its team members and support partners in their marketing endeavors without a physical office. Team members engage in frequent one-on-one meetings, have bi-monthly in-person gatherings and are encouraged to enroll in courses and training to further their skill sets. With a four-day workweek and unlimited PTO as an added benefit, each employee has the freedom to set a work schedule that can evolve while making time for personal and family commitments.
What started as a one-person operation has grown into a company of 19 full-time employees. While Bowe Digital is a proud Hoosier company, it works with hundreds of businesses, associations and non-profits around the country and has team members in six states.
