Michigan-based Transnation Title Agency is promoting two longtime employees, Becky Malone and Sharlene Shineldecker, to the positions of chief residential officer and chief commercial officer, respectively.
With a career that started as a customer service representative and courier, Malone has spent 38 years in the title insurance industry. Her most recent position was regional vice president of the Grand Rapids Division at Transnation Title.
As chief residential officer, she’ll help drive the growth of Transnation’s residential division.
"We’re thrilled to appoint Becky Malone as our chief residential officer,” Thomas Olson, CEO of Transnation Title Agency, said in a release. “Her dedication and expertise have been instrumental in shaping our team’s success, and we’re excited to see her flourish in this expanded role.”
Shineldecker's journey in the title industry spans 36 years, most recently serving as Lakeshore division vice president of escrow operations and regional vice president at Transnation Title.
She’s been an active member of various industry associations and committees, including the American Land Title Association and Michigan Land Title Association. Additionally, Shineldecker sits on the Muskegon Government Affairs Committee and has been appointed to the board of directors for the Muskegon County Chamber of Commerce.
"Shar’s vast experience and passion for excellence make her the ideal candidate for the role of chief commercial officer,” Olson said. “She’ll continue to elevate our commercial escrow operations and build strong relationships with our valued customers."
