The Illinois Land Title Association (ILTA) has named Christine Sparks as its new executive director.
Sparks has formerly served as ILTA president and COO of Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund.
“Christine’s knowledge of the industry, strong leadership skills, and understanding of daily challenges we face along with her vision will move ILTA to the next level,” the association said in a release.
Before joining Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund in 2003, Sparks was an associate at the law firm of Jump & Associates, P.C. She has also chaired various committees at ILTA, including the Title Counsel Committee. She has obtained the designation of Illinois Title Professional from ILTA and the designation of National Title Professional from the American Land Title Association.
Sparks is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. Her degrees earned include John Marshall Law School, Master of Laws in Real Estate 2004; DePaul College of Law, J.D. 2002; and Northern Illinois University, B.S. (with honors) 1999.
ILTA also announced that Brian Wojcicki will continue with the organization in his role as government liaison.
“We look forward to the collaboration and strengths that both these strong leaders will bring to our association,” ILTA stated. “And, in return, what ILTA can bring to your organization, large or small.”
