Stewart Title announced Ross Bridges joined the company as vice president, agency area manager for the Southeast District.
Bridges is responsible for overseeing sales operations in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
“As we continue taking steps to make Stewart the Premier Title Services Company, we know that our people are our greatest asset,” Senior Vice President and Southeast Agency District Manager Jay Reed said in a release. “Ross brings both the expertise and community ties that are needed to solidify our presence in each of these markets.”
Bridges has spent much of his career leading sales strategy across multi-state markets, along with building relationships with law firms, attorneys, and their support staff. He first entered the title industry as a marketing representative for Stewart Title in Georgia and later went on to work for two large underwriters, where he advanced through multiple leadership roles over the course of 20-plus years. At his most recent employer, Bridges held the role of vice president and senior account executive within the national agency division.
In addition to previously working in Georgia, Bridges’ roots in the Carolinas run deep, having grown up in Charlotte and completing his education there. He is thrilled to return home and share his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of industry professionals.
“Coming back to Stewart, where it all began, is truly a full circle moment for me,” said Bridges. “I’m excited to work with our teams to establish Stewart as the leader in this market.”
Bridges previously served as the education committee chair of the Land Title Association of Arizona and a member of the California Land Title Association. He is a three-time recipient of his previous employer’s prestigious sales award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the company’s growth. As a dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, Bridges also served on the company’s executive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Enterprise Advisory Council, where he founded the LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group.
