The Pennsylvania Land Title Association (PLTA) held its annual convention at the the Wyndham Gettysburg earlier this month.
Taking the reigns as the 2018-2019 president of the PLTA is Danielle Chamberlain, CLTP an assistant vice president and agency representative with Fidelity National Title Insurance Co.
“I know it has been a challenging time for all of us, especially our agents as they try to adapt to the many changes facing us,” Chamberlain said. “I encourage you all to continue the professionalism you always display when changes are thrown at you – and to chart your own course in the coming year.”
Joining Chamberlain as PLTA Officers for the 2018-2019 term are Charles Nowicki, CLTP, NTP, a partner in World Wide Land Transfer, Inc. in Trevose as vice president; Lisa McEntee, CLTP, senior underwriting counsel for First American Title Insurance Co. in Berwyn as treasurer; and Todd Rowe, vice president, underwriting counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. as incoming secretary.
The board was sworn in by ALTA Board of Governors representative William Burding, Jr., NTP at the associations’ President’s Reception & Honors Banquet. Additional honorees at the event include: two committee chairs who completed their terms: Sue Swick, CLTP, co-chair of the Membership Committee and Todd Rowe, Esq., previous chair of the Title Issues & Records Committee.
The association also presented honorary memberships to past presidents Michael J. Fromhold, CLTP (president 1992) and Herbert R. Walton, CLTP (president 1987). In addition, eight individuals received their Professional Designation certificates with six professionals receiving their Associate Land Title Professional (ALTP) designation: Maureen Ambler, ALTP of Trident Land Transfer Co,, LP; Rashyna Banzhof, ALTP of Title Resources Group; Debra Barr, ALTP of Trident Land Transfer Co., LP; Moira Hogan, ALTP of Title Resources Group; Sean Moran, ALTP of REO America Abstract LLC; Janet McGrath-Sittig, ALTP of Title Alliance, Ltd..
Two people received their Certified Land Title Professional (CLTP) designation: Brian Foley, CLTP and Lisa McEntee, CLTP. Outgoing President Frank McGovern, CLTP was given an appreciation award for his outstanding leadership and service as the 2017 - 2018 president.
