Doma Title Insurance named Lauren McCaskill agency manager for the company’s west Texas and New Mexico regions.
In this position, she manages agency activities for the company out of a Texas field office, securing and servicing agents throughout the region and assisting them with their business growth plans.
After launching her career as an escrow assistant for a national title company in 2012, McCaskill served in several capacities in the title insurance industry over the past decade. For two years, she worked in business development for a title company, where she created and implemented marketing concepts for a specialized property division.
McCaskill also managed the division’s social media content. Subsequently, she gravitated back to the escrow side of the business, most recently serving as escrow officer for a Texas-based title company.
“Lauren has more than a decade of experience in title insurance, working in all facets of the industry,” Ashleigh Spruell, assistant vice president, regional agency manager for Doma’s central region, said in a release. “Not only does she know firsthand what it takes to get a deal in the door and closed, she has an innate ability to work in partnership with her agents, identifying their specific needs to ensure they have access to the tools and resources Doma offers to achieve success in today’s competitive market.”
McCaskill attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, where she focused on hospitality and tourism administration.
“Living in a small town, I understand the challenges that are unique to independently owned title companies in more remote areas,” said McCaskill. “I also see the tremendous benefits Doma has to offer. In this technological age, agents everywhere can have equal and immediate access to the resources offered by our Doma education team, underwriting professionals and agency support group. Having worked in the trenches for more than a decade, I know what an agent needs from their underwriter and can help them effectively plug into these resources to improve their services, expand their marketing efforts and grow their businesses.”
