Women in Title (WiT) announced the formation of its inaugural board of directors and advisory board.
This milestone marks a defining moment in WiT’s evolution — strengthening its foundation, amplifying its voice, and advancing its mission of Advocacy, Collaboration, and Empowerment across the nation.
Founded in 2022, Women in Title began as a grassroots effort to build connection and community within the title industry. In three years, it has grown into a nationwide movement of more than 5,000 members and 30-plus active chapters, with new chapters launching every month.
“We’ve always said Women in Title is about more than connection — it’s about creating a seat at the table for every professional in this industry,” Women in Title founder and President Kim Whitlock said in a release. “This board represents what’s possible when we lead together — leaders who are shaping the future of title insurance, real estate and homeownership itself.”
The board of directors will provide governance, strategic direction, and oversight as WiT continues to expand nationally. Members bring expertise spanning underwriting, agency operations, legal, compliance, technology, and innovation.

- Kimberly Hartnett, secretary, EVP strategic growth and agency development, AmTrust Title Group
The advisory board will guide WiT’s long-term strategic vision by offering insight, perspective, and mentorship. These leaders will serve as ambassadors for the organization, amplifying WiT’s reach and impact across the industry.
Advisory board members are:

This dual-board structure reflects WiT’s commitment to sustainable growth and inclusive leadership, ensuring the organization continues to thrive for years to come, according to a release.
