Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. welcomed Timothy Rhyne as a new Michigan underwriting counsel in the Central States Region.
“We are excited to welcome Timothy Rhyne to the Michigan underwriting team,” Wesley Parkinson, Central States and Tennessee Regional Agency manager said in a release. “Timothy’s commercial title experience with a large agent for the last eight years will add to our already strong team, and he will be a valued resource for our agents. His addition will help us continue to grow in 2026 and beyond.”
Rhyne has eight years of commercial title underwriting experience with an agent based in Troy, Mich. During his time there, Rhyne led the commercial team to close transactions across Michigan and several jurisdictions ranging in value and complexity. He worked on transactions such as housing for homeless veterans, luxury single-family and multi-family developments, skilled nursing facilities, and low-income housing developments.
Additionally, Rhyne organized and oversaw an escrow company to handle funds and perform traditional escrow services for cannabis transactions. Previously, Rhyne worked as a title attorney for a consulting firm in Farmington Hills, Mich., where his main clients were public utility companies. There, he worked to obtain property rights from homeowners, farmers, commercial businesses, and governmental entities.
