Ubitquity Inc. launched Web3Sign v1.0, a blockchain-native electronic signature platform designed to replace legacy e-sign providers. Built on the XPR Network, Web3Sign delivers enterprise-grade document signing, complete with immutable cryptographic proof, according to a release.
Web3Sign offers a full suite of premium features anchored by Web3 security and verifiable on-chain transparency.
“Web3Sign bridges the gap between traditional document signing and Web3 immutability,” Nathan Wosnack, founder and CEO of Ubitquity, said. “By leveraging the XPR Network and our redundant three-layer architecture, we guarantee that every signature, date, and document transfer is permanently anchored on-chain. We’re giving users all the premium features they expect — like pixel-perfect field placement, draft modes, and reusable templates — backed by cryptographic proof, without the premium price tag.”
10 Enterprise-Class Features
Web3Sign v1.0 provides everything necessary to replace legacy platforms without sacrificing functionality. The plan being offered includes:
- Drawn and typed signatures: Retina-sharp capture with pressure sensitivity, plus cursive auto-fill.
- Field placement overlays: Pixel-perfect placement for signatures, initials, dates and text fields.
- Per-signer field assignment: Eliminates confusion by ensuring participants only fill their assigned fields.
- Pending notifications: Live alerts and one-click “Sign Now” dashboards so envelopes are never missed.
- Draft mode: Edit documents locally and lock them on-chain only when ready.
- Sequential signing order: Strict step-by-step routing across up to four signing stages.
- Expiration deadlines: Auto-void unsigned documents with visual countdowns.
- Completion certificates: One-click branded PDFs containing signature images, TX links, SHA-256 hashes, and IPFS CIDs.
- Reusable templates: Instantly pre-fill new documents to stop repetitive contract drafting.
- Blockchain-anchored proof: Every signature is recorded immutably on the XPR Network.
Web3Sign uses a redundant three-layer architecture to ensure that every document remains secure and verifiable:
- Local: Offline-first client storage within the browser;
- Server: Secure, persistent and synced across devices; and
- Blockchain: Immutable on-chain proof via XPR Network transaction memos, publicly verifiable by any third party.
The platform also introduces secure ownership transfers, allowing document creators to transfer ownership via WebAuth. A single on-chain transaction logs the transfer fee and an XFER memo, proving the chain of custody.
