Title Resources Group (TRG) named Natasha Branch as vice president, education and underwriting counsel for North Carolina. In her new role, Branch will provide underwriting support and guidance to title agents throughout North Carolina and the Southeast.
“Natasha’s depth of knowledge and experience in doing real estate transactions of every size over the course of her career will provide strong support for our agents in the Southeast,” TRG Chief Underwriting Counsel Mickey Godat said in a release. “Adding this to her educational programming background and her engaging and dynamic presentation style for title and settlement agent continuing education makes her a standout in the industry.”
Branch has 18 years of experience in underwriting and risk management, including serving as state legal education director and title counsel for a national title insurance underwriter, where she implemented legal-focused education programs and provided underwriting support on multi-million-dollar transactions. She has also managed a North Carolina title office with more than 20 employees as operations manager and underwriting counsel.
Earlier in her career, Branch spent four years as a state claims manager in North Carolina, as well as two years as a commercial title counsel with a national underwriter.
“TRG’s growth framework and its successful approach to innovative, responsible underwriting are an attractive mix,” Branch said. “I am excited to lean into my new role, using my underwriting, claims and operations experience to advise TRG agents on title and underwriting matters and present on important industry topics through in-person and virtual seminars.”
