Regardless of their title, every employee at a company should operate with a sales mindset and enhance their firm’s success by focusing on building relationships.
Those are two of the messages that will be shared in the “Science of Sales” session at the National Settlement Services Summit (NS3) June 16-18 at the Westin Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa. This program will be given by Amy Gregory, president and chief administrative officer of Florida Agency Network, and Dave Nichols, vice president of Lighthouse Title Group.
The sales strategies that will be conveyed are “the recipe for success no matter the client or market,” Gregory noted.
Gregory said she and Nichols will discuss why sales is important, who works in the field, and the best ways that sales professionals can keep track of measurables and goals. Nichols explained attendees will learn how to ask better questions of a sales prospect, use real-world sales techniques and build sales relationships.
Both Nichols and Gregory said they enjoy their work and are looking forward to sharing their knowledge with professionals working in the title and settlement services industries.
“I love sharing the success we have experienced and hearing from others,” said Gregory, who noted that all title professionals will find the program beneficial. “The title professionals that attend NS3 are committed to their business and our industry and growth.”
Nichols added “(I) love people and love helping clients succeed” with a focus on generating results faster. He believes the presentation – his first at NS3 – will be helpful to rookie sales representatives in particular.
Nichols said he believes the program is an opportunity to give industry professional “a fresh perspective” that will help them build better relationships and, in turn, improve sales. Meanwhile, Gregory hopes attendees exit the presentation with an understanding that “everyone is in sales,” and to make that concept a “common conversation” at their firms.
