NFIB: Small-business owners’ optimism dips, uncertainty rises in January

The National Federation of Independent Business Small Business Optimism Index declined by 0.2 points from December to January and the Uncertainty Index increased by 7 points. There was a rise in owners saying they were uncertain about whether now was a good time to expand their business.
