Flueid announced two key appointments at the C-suite level, bringing on Peter Gonzalez as chief financial officer (CFO) and promoting Matt Regan to the role of chief technology officer.
As CFO, Gonzalez brings more than 20 years of industry experience to help spearhead Flueid’s next phase of growth. He has built a reputation as a results-driven financial executive with a breadth of expertise in investment banking, financial planning and analysis and capital markets.
Gonzalez has also held multiple executive management positions across fintech companies, data and valuation providers, investment banking and M&A advisory firms including Beeline Loans, Real Matters and Inertia Advisors.
“The title insurance industry has made great strides in advancing innovation through data-driven decisioning – but there is still more work to be done,” he said in a release. “Flueid’s team has found a balance between respecting title tradition and building industry-changing, tech-forward solutions that add an essential missing ingredient to verification services. I have been following Flueid’s journey throughout the years, and I am so excited to now be part of a group that will help better this industry by connecting all verification services to create a faster, better, unified real estate ecosystem.”
Regan is moves up to chief technology officer after working as Flueid’s executive vice president of transaction management platforms since 2021, when his previous company Vodii was acquired by Flueid.
Leaders said Regan has made an indelible impact on Flueid’s technology roadmap by focusing on workflow improvement and process management optimization through data and integrations. He has spent his career building and integrating production systems and bringing forward authoritative data to unlock new efficiencies and capabilities. In his new role, Regan will continue streamlining real estate transactions as Flueid grows and scales its product offerings, while driving the company’s technology efforts to advance its expansionary vision.
“The last two years were focused on bringing VOT (verification of title) to the start of real estate transactions and this was achieved through the diversification of our tech stack - so, next year, we are setting out to make VOT the standard for every transaction,” said Peter Bowman, CEO and co-founder, Flueid. “The deep experience of both Peter and Matt ensures that we continue boldly ahead in this journey: Matt has already been an integral business leader, and more importantly, a true reflection of our company’s values, while Peter brings a fresh, diverse perspective so we continue innovating and partnering with the right voices. I’m both excited and humbled to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry and can’t wait for what lies ahead.”
