Avenue 365 looks to expand business development, adds VP to manage process

Avenue 365 Lender Services announced Kim Long as its new vice president of business development for its origination services division. Long will take over sales leadership for Avenue’s existing business development team, and will look to significantly grow that team during the next year. He will be looking to recruit, train, deploy and manage a team of 10-12 business development associates in Avenue’s target markets, including “location” representatives with specific geographic concentrations as well as national accounts representatives. 

Long comes to Avenue 365 with 18 years of industry experience. He was most recently director of business development with one of the nation’s largest title insurance agencies, and has been in title insurance sales or operations for his entire career.

“During our first two years of growth Avenue has just been setting the stage. 2012 will be a year of significant and exponential growth for us, both in our origination and default services business channels,” said Ryan Peterson, president and chief executive officer of Avenue 365. “Kim will play a vital role in the growth of our origination channel. He has both operations and sales experience so he really understands the product and the process at the ground level and from the customers’ perspective. He will be an asset as he grows and manages the business development team, and we are extremely excited to have him on board.”

Avenue 365 Lender Services is a customer-focused, technology-inspired national title insurance and settlement services company. They conduct business in all 50 states for both origination services and default services.
