The Mortgage Office (TMO) and AFX Research announced its integration accessible through the TMO platform. The integration enables lenders using TMO to order verified title update reports directly within the platform, giving them faster visibility into lien position and ownership data at any point in the loan lifecycle.
The TMO and AFX Research integration supports critical servicing and underwriting decisions, according to a release. Lenders can request and review title data within TMO, reducing reliance on external processes and manual outreach to title companies.
“At TMO, accuracy, efficiency, and risk management are at the core of everything we build for private lenders,” The Mortgage Office CEO Sourabh Chirimar said in a release. “Title status can often change, and lenders need a fast, reliable way to stay on top of it. By bringing AFX’s title verification directly into TMO, we’re giving lenders a new convenient way to catch issues early, protect their capital and operate with confidence.”
AFX Research has spent 30-plus years providing real estate title research nationwide to lenders, investors and insurance companies. The company combines a nationwide network of certified title abstractors with proprietary technology to deliver fast and accurate title reports backed by source documentation.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to helping lenders operate more efficiently," AFX Research CEO David Mitchell said. “By combining The Mortgage Office’s lending platform with AFX's verified public-record research, we’re making it easier for lenders and servicers to access trusted title information at critical decision points throughout the loan lifecycle.”
