In early May, WFG National Title Insurance Company brought together some of the brightest minds in the title industry for its second annual Executive Summit at the sunny Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. The vibe? High energy, high value, and all about helping title agents grow.
From the first welcome reception to the final wrap-up session, the event was designed to spark conversations, fuel innovation, and build real momentum for growth. It wasn’t your typical conference—this was a hands-on, hearts-in, sleeves-rolled-up collaboration, with leaders and title agents working side by side.
Empowering Title Agents Through WFG’s Agent 2.0

The buzz throughout the event centered around WFG’s game-changing Agent 2.0 initiative. Built on the idea that true partnership means shared success, Agent 2.0 flips the script on the typical underwriter-agent relationship. Instead of handing down tools and mandates, WFG invites agents into their inner circle.
"Our title agents told us loud and clear—they don’t want a vendor, they want a partner," said Gene Rebadow, EVP of Agency Operations. "We’re opening up our playbook and helping them put winning strategies into action."
This isn’t just talk. WFG Agent 2.0 gives the company’s title agents full access to the same tools, processes, and resources that WFG uses internally. From marketing and compliance to data insights and tech integration, it’s all on the table.
Jaime Johnson, VP and Director of WFG Agent 2.0, added, "The response from agents has been incredible. They’re using these tools to take their operations to the next level—and we’re right there with them."
Throughout the Summit, WFG leaders walked the walk, showing—not just telling—how they apply these strategies in their own operations. Attendees weren’t just handed best practices; they were part of the discussion on how to tailor those practices for their specific markets and teams.
WFG Agent 2.0 Advisory Committee: Shaping the Future Together
WFG has taken it one step further with the creation of the WFG Agent 2.0 Advisory Committee. This invite-only group of innovative title professionals is helping guide the future of the program.
"We didn’t want to build something for title agents—we wanted to build it with them," Rebadow said. "The Advisory Committee is giving us that direct feedback loop, and it’s already making a big difference."
Proper Title COO and WFG Advisory Committee member Kathy Kwak, who helped spark the original idea for Agent 2.0, summed it up this way: "Most underwriters offer rules or ask how we can give them more business, but WFG’s approach was different. They said, 'We’re going to give you the tools to succeed—because when you win, we win too.' That mindset really stood out."
Advisory Committee members are already contributing to improvements in operational workflows, client communication tools, and fraud detection strategies. Their insight is helping WFG refine every aspect of the WFG Agent 2.0 experience for broader implementation.
A New Milestone: Women's Executive Leadership Summit
Another highlight of this year’s summit was the debut of the Women’s Executive Leadership Summit. The event featured a keynote by award-winning author and speaker JJ DiGeronimo and a closing session by October Research’s Chief Knowledge Officer Mary Schuster, who also covered the full Summit for both October Research and The Title Report. This powerful exchange brought together leading women from across the industry for candid conversations, shared strategies, and relationship-building. The session reinforced WFG’s commitment to fostering inclusive leadership in every corner of the industry.
Breakout discussions covered everything from balancing growth with culture to mentoring the next generation of title professionals. The energy in the room was electric, and many attendees called the session a standout experience.
Women’s Leadership Momentum Continues Beyond the Summit
Following the incredible success of the Women’s Executive Leadership Summit, one thing became clear: this cannot be a one-time experience. The energy, insight, and impact sparked during the session inspired WFG to keep the momentum alive.
In response, WFG launched an ongoing Women’s Executive Leadership Group—an initiative designed to nurture the relationships built at the summit, continue the critical conversations, and create new opportunities for collaboration, peer support, and leadership development across the industry.
“The Women’s Executive Leadership Summit gave us a space to connect, reflect, and uplift each other in meaningful ways,” Jaime Johnson said. “We wanted that sense of connection to continue beyond a single event, which is why we created a dedicated leadership group to support, empower, and grow together all year long.”
This new initiative reinforces WFG’s long-term commitment to inclusive leadership, ensuring women across the title industry have a platform to lead, influence, and thrive.
Deep Dive Sessions That Delivered

The Summit wasn’t all talk—it was packed with practical, hands-on sessions designed to help title agents thrive. From fraud prevention and AI integration to recruiting strategies and underwriting tools, no topic was off-limits.
Stanley J. Czaja, Esq., delivered a standout session on fraud trends, using real-life case studies to help agents shore up their defenses. Cheryl Cowherd and Kimberly Fields led an insightful session on underwriting best practices, offering actionable strategies to streamline workflows and reduce risk.
Attendees also heard from Nik Ligris, who led the “Tapping into New Talent” panel alongside Dave Merry and Ellen Dolan from Suffolk University. The discussion focused on building stronger connections between the title industry and higher education to attract the next generation of professionals.
Other standout sessions included Jeff Lobb of SparkTank Media on using AI to automate the mundane and drive growth, as well as panels on managing the sales process, improving the profit center and sales manager relationship, and embracing mindset shifts that support change and innovation.
The conversations were candid, forward-looking, and packed with insights attendees could immediately bring back to their operations.
Collaboration That Drives Results
Perhaps the most exciting outcome of the Summit? Real connections, real deals. Attendees reported forming new partnerships and even closing business thanks to relationships built at the event.
“We’re not just creating community—we’re creating opportunity,” said Rebadow. “When title agents connect, share ideas, and walk away with tools they can actually use, that’s a win for everyone.”
Title agents left the event feeling energized and supported. Many expressed that the summit was the first time they truly felt like equal partners with an underwriter.
“Our goal was to make sure every agent who attended felt seen, heard, and valued,” said Rebadow. “When we get better together, the whole industry wins.”
What’s Next
As Agent 2.0 continues to grow, so does the opportunity for WFG’s title agents. The momentum from this year’s Summit is already shaping plans for 2026, and if the feedback is any indication, demand for a seat at the table will be high.
“We’re building something special here,” Rebadow shared. “And we’re just getting started.”
