Proper Title LLC announced the expansion of its services with the addition of Halter.
Based in the firm’s downtown Chicago office, Halter will serve as a commercial officer nationally and a residential officer in the Chicago area. Halter also will be Proper Title’s Northwest Indiana escrow manager.
“We’ve experienced remarkable growth in our national commercial services division over the past three years, and we’re excited to welcome Jake to the team to help sustain that momentum,” Proper Title Vice President of National Commercial Business Development Michael Stump said in a release. “Jake brings a proven track record of exceptional client service and deep expertise in working with lenders, realtors, builders, developers and attorneys. His leadership and commitment will be invaluable as we continue expanding and enhancing our commercial services.”
A veteran national commercial escrow officer, Halter spent nearly 10 years at St. Louis-based True Title Co., most recently as vice president, commercial division manager. Halter has a bachelor’s degree in general business administration and management from Southern Illinois University.
