Labor Department finalizes overtime pay rule

Salaried workers making as much as $47,000 annually will become eligible for overtime by the end of the year, according to new rules finalized by the Department of Labor. The White House says the move will assist workers whose wages have been relatively stagnant in recent years, while news of the move was met with some opposition in the industry.
