Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. announced the creation of the Mary O’Donnell Scholarship Program, a dedicated fund to support the children of employees in their pursuit of higher education. The program honors the life of Westcor’s former CEO, Mary O’Donnell, her leadership, and the excellence she exemplified.
“We are thrilled to launch the Mary O’Donnell Scholarship Program as a special opportunity to make a difference for employees and their families,” Terry Wright, CEO of Westcor, said in a release. “Mary was a trailblazer in the title industry who understood the power of good mentorship. It’s a privilege for Westcor to pay that forward and champion future trailblazers in celebration of her legacy.”
The scholarship program and administrative committee will award one student each year based on the criteria of academic achievement, leadership and community involvement.
The Mary O’Donnell Scholarship Program reflects Westcor’s dedication to supporting employees and fostering future leaders, two initiatives O’Donnell was incredibly passionate about.
