True Title Co., a St. Louis area title and settlement services firm, announced that Kerry Wofford has joined the company as associate general counsel.
In this role, Wofford will lead True Title’s in-house underwriting team and provide legal guidance to the company’s management team. She will work closely with John Duckworth, president of True Title Co. and John Banjak, general counsel.
Wofford brings decades of experience in real estate law, with a background that spans title underwriting, collections, homebuilding and development, foreclosure and other complex real estate matters.
“I’m excited to begin this new journey at True Title,” Wofford said in a release. “I look forward to supporting the company’s talented escrow, production and underwriting teams as we work together to ensure smooth transactions for all of our agents and customers.”
Duckworth said Wofford will be another valuable cog in True Title’s leadership team.
