The Closing Agent announced its 2025 holiday food drive in support of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. This year, in addition to helping families facing food insecurity, the initiative will provide assistance to those impacted by the recent government shutdown.
With six offices across central Florida, The Closing Agent is rallying its staff, clients and community partners to donate non-perishable food items throughout the holiday season. Contributions will directly benefit Second Harvest Food Bank, which serves more than 550 feeding partners across six counties and last year distributed enough food for more than 82 million meals.
“Our holiday food drive is one of our most cherished traditions,” The Closing Agent Founder Barry L. Miller, Esq., said in a release. “This year, we recognize that the need is even greater, with many families affected by the government shutdown. We’re committed to doing our part to make the season brighter for those who need it most.”
In the spirit of community, The Closing Agent is also challenging other local title companies and real estate professionals to join this effort.
“If you’re coming in for a closing, we’d love for you to bring along any non-perishable items you no longer need,” Miller said. “Cleaning out your kitchen before moving? That’s the perfect time to set aside a few things to donate. Every little bit helps and goes a long way toward supporting families in need.”
Donations can be dropped off at any of The Closing Agent’s six central Florida locations which include, Altamonte, Celebration, Ocoee, Orlando, Merritt Island and Winter Park.
