Digital real estate closing provider Pavaso announced it has successfully completed the SOC 2 Type 2 certification process.
Earning the SOC 2 Type 2 certification demonstrates that an organization’s cybersecurity and control measures meet the stringent objectives set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
“Our dedicated team has diligently built a robust cybersecurity infrastructure and set of protocols to safeguard every one of our stakeholders,” Jay Hollis, executive vice president, general manager of Pavaso, said in a release. “Achieving the gold standard in cybersecurity, we are proud to offer our customers unwavering commitment that their data remains secure and will never be sold.
“As real estate transactions increasingly go digital, title insurance companies and their customers become prime targets for cyberattacks and data breaches. These risks are not to be taken lightly — they can lead to substantial financial losses, reputational damage, and legal repercussions.”
