SoftPro was named one of
Triangle Business Journal’s 2021 Best Places to Work. Only 50 Research Triangle Park businesses, among hundreds of nominations, earned the distinction. The winners were chosen based on employee participation and their responses in a survey process conducted by Quantum Workplace.
“It is such an honor for SoftPro to be named in the 2021 Best Places to Work in the Triangle,” SoftPro President Joyce Weiland said in a release. “The Research Triangle Park is home to so many amazing companies, and to be named among this distinct group based on employee feedback affirms the positive environment we endeavor to create and nurture.”
SoftPro has won the Best Places to Work designation eight previous times. It has built a unique culture that carried over during the pandemic. When SoftPro’s workforce began working remotely in March 2020, the HR and IT departments worked together to ensure that employees had everything they needed to create a comfortable and efficient work-from-home environment. All employees received an office supply voucher to upgrade their home office space with options such as extra monitors, standing desks, and office chairs as they saw fit. HR also unveiled the Snappy program, an employee appreciation gift service that allows managers to send rewards to their employees.
The company got creative in continuing its philanthropy efforts throughout the pandemic by adapting their employee wellness program into team initiatives that earned money for employee-designated charities.
SoftPro is also known for competitive pay and benefits including an employee stock purchase plan, 401k matching, fitness center reimbursement and summer “Flex Fridays.”
