“Adoption of eRecording isn’t just relegated to counties containing large municipalities,” Simplifile President Paul Clifford said. “Counties in states as lightly populated as North Dakota, for example, are also seeing the efficiency and cost benefits eRecording can provide and are choosing to make the switch from paper-based to electronic recording.”
Recently added counties are: Latah County, Idaho; Tazewell County, Ill.; Harper County, Kan.; Stanton County, Kan.; Gladwin County, Mich.; Roscommon County, Mich.; Freeborn County, Minn.; Nobles County, Minn.; Red Lake County, Minn.; Roseau County, Minn.; Traverse County, Minn.; Adair County, Mo.; McKenzie County, N.D.; Ransom County, N.D.; Marion County, Ohio; Grant County, Ore.; Marion County, Ore.; Kittitas County, Wash.; Calumet County, Wis.; Fond du Lac County, Wis.; Jackson County, Wis.; Oneida County, Wis.

In addition, Simplifile enables settlement service providers and county recorders to reduce payment errors and eliminate check-based payment costs by securely processing payments through the Simplifile service.
The minimum requirements for customers to begin submitting documents for eRecording through Simplifile are high-speed Internet access, a PC, and a scanner.
