EY announced Tom Cronkright and Lawrence Duthler, co-founders of Sun Title Agency, were named as finalists for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2016 Award in the Michigan and Northwest Ohio Region. Cronkright and Duthler were selected by a panel of independent judges.
The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
“We are honored to be named a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award,” Sun Title CEO and co-owner Cronkright said. “We are constantly looking for better solutions for our clients. Innovations like our Mobile Closing Units and EZ Read Title Commitment were created because they improve the real estate transaction process for all parties involved.”
Now in its 30th year, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities and 60 countries throughout the world.
“At Sun Title we continue to push ourselves to be the best service provider we can be to both our clients and our community,” co-owner of Sun Title Duthler said. “To us, being named a finalist further proves that our various innovations and expansions are adding value to those we serve and this will push us to continue to succeed.”
Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 19, 2016.
