Marion County in Oregon and Fond Du Lac County in Wisconsin now are eRecording real estate documents through Corporation Service Company (CSC). Any document submitter with a computer, Internet connection and scanner/printer now can eRecord real estate documents in these jurisdictions through CSC.
Existing CSC customers can access the county’s available document types and required fields using the CSC Submitter Bulletin for Marion and CSC Submitter Bulletin for Fond Du Lac. Customers can email [email protected] if these counties have not been added to their drop-down lists, or with any questions or concerns.
Document submitters who are new to CSC, or new to the eRecording process, should request a consultation with a CSC specialist. With eRecording, document submitters benefit from shorter wait times, fewer document rejections, faster rejection handling and more secure transmission of documents, the company said.
In addition, CSC stated that Comal County in Texas is accepting UCCs as an additional electronic document type through CSC eRecording, and Yellow Medicine County in Minnesota is accepting Torrens documents. CSC eRecording customers now can view this updated information in their drop-down menus when preparing new documents.
