Agents National Title Insurance Co. appointed David Litten as risk management analyst. He will be working with agents to oversee state and federal compliance and internal risk management.
Litten was the Missouri state agency manager for First American Title Insurance Co. since 2005. He began working for First American in the fall of 2000 as agency representative for the Joplin Service Center. In addition to those duties, he researched and examined title for the Joplin office. Prior to that he owned and operated Bowman’s Vernon County Title Co. in Nevada, Mo.
Before getting into the title business, he was a high school teacher, having been the director of bands for Bolivar, Mo., for six years. He also taught in Columbia, Mo., and Kalamazoo, Mich. He earned a B.S. in music education from the University of Columbia in 1968 and an M.S. in music education from the University of Western Michigan in 1970.
He has two children, a daughter, Sarah Brooks and a son, John David and twin grandchildren, Luck and Jack Brooks. He and his wife Elizabeth McReynolds have been married for 14 years. They reside in Nevada, Mo.
