North American Title Insurance Co. (NATIC) added two state managers, Christian Lasher and Meg Mullaney. Each is responsible for expanding the company’s agency client base — Lasher in Arizona and Colorado; Mullaney in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
“Christian and Meg both come from the agency side of the title business, which helps them understand the day-to-day and long-term business needs of our current agents as well as those who may be looking at joining our select agency client base,” said Geoffrey Ginn, senior vice president, independent agency for NATIC. “Having that experience makes them valuable partners to help those agents build business and differentiate themselves from the competition. They are excellent additions to our independent agency team.”
“NATIC is a name I have known and trusted, and I am thrilled to have my name associated with the company,” said Lasher. “I will take what I know and use it to help grow our brand in Arizona and Colorado.”
Lasher worked in business development and sales for the title industry for 12 years, as well as in the mortgage loan industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Wyoming and worked in sports broadcasting for several years.
Mullaney has worked in the title industry for nine years.
“It takes a strong entrepreneurial and creative spirit, backed by reliable service, for title agents to develop a trusting relationship with clients,” Mullaney said. “I understand the tremendous effort it takes to develop business, particularly in this difficult market. That perspective helps me work with agents facing those challenges.”
Mullaney has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hollins College in Roanoke, Va., as well as a mini-MBA in digital marketing from Rutgers University Center for Management Development. Her work experience also includes two years in Hong Kong, marketing travel insurance to travel agents.
