Long & Foster decided to terminate, with Wells Fargo Ventures’ consent and cooperation, its current mortgage joint venture known as Prosperity Mortgage Co. It will form a new mortgage lender that will become a wholly owned subsidiary of The Long & Foster Companies, effective Jan. 1, 2014.
