SLK has named Mark Ramsey as its new national vice president of business development, the company announced.
Ramsey previously served as the company’s west coast vice president of business development.
Ramsey joined SLK in 2018 to expand the reach of its digital platforms among title and settlement services companies.
In his role as vice president of business development for the west coast, he headed the growth of the business by 40 percent and closed more than 80 opportunities, SLK said
“Mark has been a key part of our success so we are thrilled to promote him to a bigger role,” Executive Vice President Shannon Cobb said in a release. “We’re confident Mark will continue increasing our outreach among title agencies across the nation, and help them enhance their operational efficiency, even during these unprecedented times.”
“It’s been a very interesting year so far with a volatile mortgage market coupled with the unforeseen pandemic situation,” Ramsey said. “But thanks to a strong team backed by our technology-enabled platform solutions, including SmartProp for property title search reports and SmartTrak for property tax reports, we have been able to successfully help our existing clients, and also expand our presence to new customers with these solutions to help them in the current environment.”
Prior to joining SLK, Ramsey worked at ServiceLink, Fidelity and Lender Processing Services.
