Proper Title, LLC, hired Brent Fielder as executive vice president of business development. He will be responsible for expanding the firm beyond Illinois, initially into northwest Indiana, as well as recruiting key employees and growing and collaborating with sales teams.
“Brent’s depth of industry experience and a strong track record in developing multi-state title company operations made him the clear choice to lead Proper Title’s expansion into markets outside of Illinois,” Proper Title partner and co-founder Mike Golden said in a release. Golden is also @properties co-founder and co-CEO.
Fielder spent 13 years at Meridian Title Corp. in South Bend, Ind. Most recently, he served as executive director of sales and marketing, leading the northwest Indiana, north-central Indiana, and southwest Michigan sales teams. He also served as escrow manager, regional sales manager and corporate sales manager.
Earlier in his career, Fielder spent eight years in title insurance in northwest Indiana as an operations manager for Metropolitan Title of Indiana and as an escrow manager for Chicago Title. Prior to that, he was a loan officer for National City Bank in East Chicago, Ind.
