Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) Chicago and its affiliated title company, Fort Dearborn Land Title Co., named Michelle Feola vice president and general counsel for both businesses. Feola will oversee all legal matters, regulatory issues, compliance, and leasing as well as advise the BHHS Chicago’s leadership team.
“I have enjoyed working with Michelle as our outside counsel through Fuchs & Roselli for many years, so it is my distinct pleasure to welcome her inside to our leadership team,” BHHS Chicago CEO Diane Glass said in a release. “Michelle’s knowledge of our company and the real estate landscape, both from local and national perspectives, is impressive. Our long relationship and extensive experience with her made her the perfect choice for us.”

In addition, she handled matters ranging from business torts to shareholder and partnership disputes. She is experienced in contract review, condominium law, mechanics liens, construction defects, fraud, breach of contract, landlord and tenant litigation and municipal law.
“After years representing BHHS Chicago as their outside counsel, it is an honor to be joining their team,” Feola said. “I respect Diane and the firm’s leadership and share their values, so for me, this is a truly wonderful opportunity.”
