United Lender Services Corp.
(ULS), a national title, settlement services and appraisal management company, announced the addition of four executives to its management team. Paul Martin, director of risk and compliance; Jim DiGregory, general counsel; Wes McDaniel, chief appraisal; and Matt Proffitt, branch manager and escrow officer of the Texas branch.
“These four gentlemen bring a wealth of industry experience and depth to ULS,” said Bill McNamara, President and chief executive officer of United Lender Services. “As we continue to expand our business into Texas, Arizona and California, we are thrilled to have these individuals join our leadership team.”
Martin previously held the position as senior vice president of compliance and operational risk management at Bank of America. While there he designed and implemented a comprehensive federal and state compliance measurement strategy to assess the quality of the business’ response to regulatory requirements. Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Cranfield University.
DiGregory has extensive experience in the real estate industry as a developer, lender and attorney. He comes to ULS from a private legal practice specializing in commercial real estate, and as the owner and president of Hawk Development Corporation. His company developed a wide array of commercial real estate projects with a combined value of over $100 million. He previously held executive and general counsel positions for two large real estate developers and for a major general contractor. He also served as an executive with a national commercial lender. DiGregory has negotiated and closed hundreds of real estate transactions and has significant experience in project development, loan underwriting, title clearance, commercial leases, acquisitions and sales. DiGregory holds a juris doctorate from the University of Toledo Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Mount Union College.
Prior to joining ULS, McDaniel served as director of appraisal valuations for CoreLogic Valuation Services. McDaniel also served as the West division manager for Bank of America’s residential appraisal department for 17 years. While working there he earned a Six Sigma Greenbelt. McDaniel holds an MBA and bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona.
Proffitt has nearly 15 years of experience in the title industry, including examination, residential and commercial closing, training and management. He holds a bachelor’s degree communications from the University of Texas of San Antonio. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Development Program of Real Estate Council of San Antonio.
