Experiencing record growth in 2012, New Vista Solutions LLC, a national settlement company, has brought on two lender service professionals.
Gary Kasper joins New Vista as president. In this new role, Kasper will be responsible for the development and implementation of New Vista’s mortgage origination product strategy. His focus will be on expanding the first mortgage and home equity settlement offering and compliance service. This capability will enable New Vista’s lender clients to utilize automated tools to meet state and federal mortgage compliance requirements with increased efficiencies and consistent analysis.
Kasper spent five years with Wolters Kluwer Financial Services as business manager of settlement services. His responsibilities included the initial startup of the settlement services division with financial services. He was also responsible for strategic direction, operational policy and overall go-to market strategy for the settlement services division. Prior to Wolters Kluwer, Kasper spent five years with Stewart Lenders Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Title Co., as vice president, sales manager of automated products. His responsibilities included the overall sales and business development of the automated products division.
“Gary offers the experience and perspective that is often difficult to find in the mortgage origination space,” said Jesse Rivera, chief executive officer of New Vista. “We are pleased Gary has joined us at this critical juncture as we focus on our customers’ challenges in economies and compliance. Gary will also play an important role as we add additional capabilities to our growing settlement business.”
Jay Prasifka joins New Vista as vice president of sales and marketing. Prasifka has substantial and diverse real estate and mortgage experience in mortgage loan origination, Fair Lending and CRA compliance, mortgage training, asset management, and marketing of bundled services.
Prasifka is also a veteran of Stewart Lender Services. As vice president of indirect sales at Stewart Lending Services, Prasifka was responsible for leveraging the title agent’s lender relationships to market Stewart’s bundled services across the nation.
“Jay’s experience in the mortgage industry brings a depth of knowledge that is perfect for New Vista’s increased emphasis on compliance,” River said. “Her high standards of customer service align with New Vista as it enables customers to order, track and deliver a comprehensive suite of settlement products and services necessary to close mortgage loans.”
