Redfin is a company of real estate agents and software engineers that are trying to, as they put it on the site “reinvent real estate.” The online real estate organization tries to give the consumer information that other real estate agents do not — leaks, road noise, price history and negotiation patterns, etc. — and it pays agents based on “customer satisfaction bonuses” rather than a commission.
