New York-based LandStar Title Agency named James Russen and Edmond Adams as vice presidents of sales. The company said they will help expand the agency’s growing portfolio and solidify goals for sustainable growth.
Russen joins LandStar with over 17 years of experience in strategic sales, account management and business development.
“I have known Jim for many years, and he will definitely prove to be a valuable asset to the LandStar sales team as well as to our clients,” President and CEO John Burke said in a release.
Throughout his career, Russen developed a background in securing strategic partnerships in New York City and an ability to unlock new pipeline opportunities and drive substantial business growth, according to LandStar.
“I am excited to join LandStar Title Agency. I look forward to retaining existing partnerships and cultivating new opportunities as well,” he said.
Adams is a first-generation immigrant from Ghana and a Marine Corp member. After earning his bachelor’s degree in business management, he became a personal training manager.
In 2015, he founded and managed Boss NYC, the largest independent, minority-owned training facility in Manhattan.
“His communication skills and work ethic are second-to-none. These attributes are intrinsic and synonymous with success within our industry,” Burke said.
