Fidelity National Financial (FNF) announced it hired Elizabeth Wysong Berg as its national agency vice president for education and training. She will leverage FNF’s knowledge of the real estate title profession both internally and externally.
Berg, who is an underwriting counsel veteran and president of the Indiana Land Title Association, will work directly with FNF Vice President and National Agency Director of Education and Marketing Strategy Linda Grahovec and with FNF leaders across the company to coordinate the company’s education strategy and target learning opportunities.
“I’m looking forward to facilitating and bringing information to those groups, so that everyone can be the best they can be for their agents,” Berg said in a release. “The thing that excites me the most is just the ability to work with subject matter experts and getting to the heart of the issues when they are presenting, so everyone from an attorney to an entry-level examiner and searcher can understand and gain something from it. The better our agents understand issues, the better it is for their agency and the better it is for FNF.”
Through the position, the FNF National Agency team hopes to increase the availability of its subject matter experts to present material across its agency network and at industry conferences.
“We are thrilled for Elizabeth to bring her expertise and enthusiasm to FNF in this new role,” FNF National Agency Operations President Steve Day said. “The title profession is a dynamic, ever-changing industry, which makes focusing on education more important than ever. At FNF, we strive for our employees and partners to be at the forefront of new rules and best practices shaping the industry, and Elizabeth will play a role in ensuring those efforts are cohesive and timely.”
